My mom and I walked into Cartier because she wanted to show me a wedding band that she thought would be nice for my fiance. We asked a sales associate by the name of Evanne usually I tend not to name people in my negative reviews, but this woman was so atrocious that I can't help but tell all of yelpland if she could show us a few different wedding bands.
She asked me when I was getting married and I told her June. She then responded that it was way too early for me to be looking and absolutely refused to show us the wedding bands. She said she would give us a book to look at, but that was it. Ummmm, what She then walked away from us, which we assumed was to get a book and never came back. In the words of Julia Roberts Thankfully the Assistant Manager of the store, Fred, restored my faith in Cartier when we then asked him to see a few bands and he was more than happy to show them to us.
Crazy that people actually spend that much money on a piece of jewelry, but if you're going to spend it these earrings are the way to go I may go back to Cartier to purchase bands with my fiance, but I certainly won't be giving Evanne any of my business. I love this location! She is absolutely fantastic! Very kind and helpful. If you stop by here then definitely ask for her! I've bought numerous pieces from her and she is just so lovely!
I love Cartier and own a few piece. But I was honestly taken back by the customer service. The whole time I held my breath because I had already knew what I wanted. Ivonne was helping me and the whole time you can tell she was annoyed because I was taking awhile to decide.
She was very arrogant and kind of rude. Didn't bother to offer me any drink until she knew I was going to make a purchase for sure! Making it seem like I couldn't afford anything and that I was wasting my time with her. As a client who is spending more than 5k you would think they would have more patience. The way she treats her customer was a lot differ from Wong. The whole time I was there I wish Wong or anybody else helped me instead.
Ivonne personality change after I had bought a piece. Much more friendly but she didn't bother to wrap my item. Instead threw everything in the bag with a whole bunch of tissue wrapping paper.
I'm planning to come back for some rings but definitely not to Ivonne. I rather give someone else the commission. Anyone else who is more friendly and has patience. Or simply order online. Service I experienced it was really great but extremely slow Took back the ring and got something else.
The manager there is incredible. Couldn't ask for better service. Thanks again for all your help!!! Walked in to inquire about two tank watch batteries and to maybe purchase a Trinity de Cartier ring wanted to try it on and see if it was suitable for an Anniversary gift only to be ignored for ten minutes. Well, not ignored, the security guard stared at me. I saw a couple of women in the back drinking champagne and decided to approach a female sales associate while she was wrapping something.
I understand but how about acknowledging me and saying something like,"Would you mind waiting ten minutes? I had to poke her to find out when I should come back.
She repeated twice,"I am busy! There are only two of us! As an owner of 6 Cartier pieces, i was quite disgusted. That woman has no business working for Cartier. Like the reviewer before me, I give the Boca Raton one star for their service, specifically the boutique manager, Monica Lavalette.
Superior service comes from superior management, and, as summarized herein, lackluster service comes from, well I dropped a watch in for a new crystal. I was more interested in making sure Fred knew I needed this watch repaired for my wife's birthday five weeks afterward. Three weeks later, I called for the watch.
Another sales person Michael told me nothing had been done as I hadn't replied to an email about an increased estimate. I was beside myself I lost three weeks AND if I hadn't called them, it would have sat there in purgatory.
I mean, why am I chasing them down? It was like being at the Four Seasons restaurant for 90 minutes and having to go into the kitchen for my food. I protested my frustration, and insisted they had to get it done. Michael said he would call the TX service center, where the unit already was, and "get it to the front of the line". I told him to call me back with a new time frame, to define this "front of the line", because in my gut, I knew I was talking to an inferior politician, someone incapable and disinterested of currying advantage for a defaulted customer.
When I suggested I should get a reduction in cost, he didn't even answer me. Michael rejected to offer any real apology, verbal or monetary. Of course, On July 8th, he called to say it would be by the end of the month. That is two more days than the original three weeks and certainly he gained no advantage calling TX. I still wonder if he called at all. It was like complaining to my dog, if my dog had a lisp. Cartier made no effort or failed effort to fix the problem they made.
Alas, when I returned to Cartier to get the watch back, I had the displeasure to meet Lavalette. I laid out this entire grievance to her, points She offered no explanation for Fred dropping the ball, Michael being useless, and when I told her she is ultimately the reflection of the place itself, her eyes said "it is what it is".
The odd thing is none of them were stuck-up or pompous, just really, really lame. Like a union worker with guaranteed jobs. Think "toll attendant" for the turnpike. This Cartier is the least performer, by volume, in south-east Florida. You need service, go to Bal Harbor or Palm Beach. Business website. Phone number.
